Specifically, she increased my awareness of my nutritional intake and provided food alternatives, gave me great tips to help manage my stress during graduate school, and provided ideas of how to fit exercise into my busy schedule. She helped me create small, attainable goals each week so the changes were not overwhelming. When these small changes were added together over time, I saw and felt positive changes in my body, my mood, and my attitude. Marie provided very practical, but also extremely empathic and nonjudgmental support to me as I participated in her health coaching services to improve my health. Every time I met with her, she came prepared with a plethora of tools that I could use to effectively set and reach my goals. I also enjoyed her daily motivations and weekly check-ins, which helped me to reflect and stay on track. Aside from the practical tools, the thing I valued most about my sessions with her was the space she provided for me to more deeply explore the mental and emotional barriers that have kept me from maintaining consistent progress toward my goals in the past.
